Ps I turn off the main filter a fuval307 and left only a sponge filter because it has chemical media until I replace it with sponge only sometime tomorrow or the next day depending how serious I should move on it with this busy week going on

I think its cloudy eye. You can try and treat it with esha 2000 but I'll be honest and say I don't hold much hope as it looks to me quite far gone.

What are the tank parameters? Maintenance routine?

Last water change before treatment was 2 days ago before that was alil over a week I say 10 to 11 days ago did made a huge mess and I think it hurt it self when I was gone my brother came over to walk the dogs and feed them while I was gone and he said he would bang on the tank trying to get its attention to feed him so I told him but not to much in fear he might over feed and kill while I was gone and came home to this

Youre going to need tip top water conditions if he has any chance of making a recovery.
You need to try to zero the ammonia and also reduce the nitrate a bit and try and aim for around 2 ppm. I'd get this right before trying to medicate or treat the tank. Id probably do around a 70% water change with the established filter to start and check again.

I will try it out thanks just rise the temperature to make sure he is stable for the day see how it goes going to do another water change and check the ammonia

I know the light messing it up but I think it is a slight green on the ammonia test right

Yeah I agree but its very hard to tell with a photo and lighting but from this photo it doesn't look as bad as I though it would to be honest but any ammonia at all isn't a good thing and it does really need to be zero. API tests for total ammonia so if you have used something like Seachem prime this would affect the result making it seem higher. I don't use API for ammonia, I use the Seachem version because it tests both free and total ammonia where as API is just for total. Nitrates are still a little high for my liking and I would be looking at getting those down. Keep up with the water changes and monitor. Pristine water is your goal. Fingers crossed for you, good luck!
