Hey guys,

Recent tank swap but kept the bio media from the previous tank in the new filter.. no ammonia/nitrite readings at this point.. did a water change after finding him this way to bring the nitrate back down..

Noticed my Del's eye was a bit cloudy yesterday and made a note to check it in the morning, and today it is swollen up :( attached some pics to get your opinions as to whether you think it's popeye or if it's more likely that he scratched it at some point during the tank move..

Want to do whatever is necessary to get em healed up just want to go the right direction on meds before his trip to the hospital tank.. Gonna bump temp and add some aquarium salt in the mean time

Thanks

Thanks for the response Rocksor, went out and got some Kanaplex.. Melafix was the one I remembered but this stuff has great reviews and got my fingers crossed.

Fish was being harassed by a Severum that I have since rehomed, not 100% sure he didn't pop him in the eye as the fish is otherwise eating well and acting normal...

Follow up - Kanaplex knocked it out of the park. Fully cleared up and back to normal in a single 2 day dose, left the fish an extra day with that level of medication to be safe :)
