Popping up?

Hey all MFKers!
im just wondering why are odoes popping up all over the place suddenly?there used to have rarely any threads abt them but now quite a few!

The fish aren't really any more common, it just appears as though people are becoming more aware of them and how awesome they are.

Odoe pikes are probably the most underrated toothy characin IMO.

In my opinion as well.

There are very few here with tanks big enough for most of the fish we see in this section of the forum. Odoes are actually feasible for most hobbyists to keep.

Very hardy for a Characin. One of the toughest out there in my opinion. About the only time people loose them is from them committing suicide by jumping.

A group puts on an exceptional feeding show, and I've had great luck mixing them with many different kinds of fish......

I was thinking the same thing the other day. They are a great fish. Wanted one for years before I finally pulled the trigger
