Anything bigger than this site? Freshwater based at least. I like to browse these big forums to see everyones tank setups and experiences.

I'm aware of aquariumadvice, fishlore, piranha fury, reddit's section, and the various reef ones which don't interest me, but does anyone know of any other large active sites?

Mfk is definitely one of the most active but DiYFishKeepers.com is my next favorite site
 
Didn't know reddit had a fish sub.

Cichlidae has a good forum, site membership is $30 a year but is the best cichlid site. The forum isn't extremely active but that is mostly because most members are more advanced so you dont get the "what can I put in my 30" questions.

Yeah, on reddit it's under /aquariums. Pretty good sub-reddit, with good links on the right bar for quick access. Thanks for the sites all, keep listing any if you can I've been checking some out when I have time.
 
This site used to be the biggest, best most hardcore fishkeeping site on the net but I've noticed over the last couple of years that the old school fellas have hung it up and are hardly on anymore . But there still isnt a better site to get your problems solved, google aquarium setups if ya just want to browse setups
