Yep. Bujurquina. Some think they're vitatta but there are so many similar ones that I really haven't tried to pinpoint the species. I'm just happy to find them for a VERY good price.
According to the seller, they are being farm-raised in south Florida. Unfortunately they're mislabeled, so they're probably going to get shipped to LFS all over the country as "port cichlids." *sigh*
Was thinking bujurquina as well but it looks like I'm too late. I've read they lay their eggs on leaves and the females will carry the leaves up and down as the rivers flood. Beyond cool in my book!
