Portable Battery Powered Air Pumps (TIPS)

Looking to hear from peeps who have a battery powered (Portable) air pump or have used one.....

I need a small one that runs off a few AA or D cell batteries.
Whats a good one to buy??? How long do they run for???

the one i have operates on 2 d batteries 1 battery gets you 8hrs of air i use it to transfer fish from time to time or for bait fish

yup great little life saver and costs about 10$

I go for the cheapies at wally world. The ones for five bucks are nearly identical to the ones that are $25. I use large round air stones from Petsmart ($.68) because they are heavy enough to not require a weight to hold them down.

10-20 dollar price range is what you want and double d batts
i have 3 different ones
1-$10
and
2-$20
the 10 dollar kinds break faster then the 20 dollar ones
i use them every week for my nettings

and the double d ones last quite a long time on new batteries
