Memphis, TN / Manhattan, KS
Hey guys, I'm a freshman in college right now and looking to set up my first reef tank (not now but in a while). I am from Memphis, TN but am in Manhattan, KS (Kansas State University) and have no clue how good/bad their water is in terms of chemicals so I don't want to take a risk (unless someone else finds something that tells me different about the tap water) but I don't have my own sink. I was wondering if there was a system to where I could attach it to our sink, filter the water into a bucket and transport it down the hall? Is this even something that they make?

Thanks,
Zach

That stinks...Your roomies arent going to be happy with you running a unit on the sink for a couple hours. Plus depending on the unit you will be wasting a lot of water, which might not make your supervisor or whatever happy. I would talk to these people first.

If you were going to have a reef in such a setting however, I would recommend rodi.
