position of filter

hey i have a internal filter for a 55g very powerfull and have had in in the same corner the whole year i have had it. and before i had it i have a intake in the same place, i thought masybe poo from all my fish would be building up in the otherside of the tank, so should i switch where i place my filter

any ideas and thopughts would be appreciated

As long as you are doing water changes and sweeping the gravel on a regular basis you should be fine. If you are worried about it you could always add a second filter or a power head though.

yeah i need a power head, and i decided to swap ends for a change and the fish are still adjusting to it but will be fine

the reason why i did end up changing was because i have a couplebard next to the tank at that end so the filter is out of sight, and the other end i have free of any furnature so now i can veiw from that glass without seeing a filter in the way
