Found these guys the other day and bought them as just “Bass” since they seemed a bit different. Wondering if anyone can ID them? They’re currently being treated for their ich in my QT tank

They do have that long body look to them. They should be interesting growouts keep us posted.
Agreed definitely have a long body, they look a bit washed out maybe because of ich makes it more difficult. Tails look a bit clamped also could be because of ich it’s also a trait of farm bred. Repost when ich has cleared
I am 99.9% certain these are farmed. I wouldnt be surprised if they're an odd hybrid too but I wanted to get some second opinions on them as well. I have a weird feeling in the back of my head they're partially kelberi with how they've been acting. Will post pics again in a few days for you to take another look at them
Which LFS? I know the one i shop at, They usually get farmies unless they can identify for sure what species. but yours is weird. i want to say orino but then i want to say kels ??
