Possible BLOAT?

One of my Gymnogeophagus 'Balzani' has what looks like Bloat. He also has a red coloration where his dorsal fin connects to his body and right above his mouth is more red coloration. His scales are also starting to protrude from his lower body where he is swelling up.

Is the red coloration part of bloat or something else? And if you guys think this is bloat then where do I get the medication that ODDBALL described in his sticky.

Yeah I read oddballs sticky. The only thing throwing me off is the red coloration above the mouth and where the dorsal meets the body. Do you know where to get the medicine Phil was talking about in his sticky?

I'm gonna start the epson salt tomorrow..... 2:08 am, when I go to bed and get up.

I've also herd of it being available at Petsmart periodically.. I would check your LFS..

Thanks Tongue. Correct me if need be but in the bloat treatment phil says to use salt.... Is that epson salt or aquarium salt? He lists a second treatment for bloat using epson but he doesn't say what salt to use at the very top of his sticky.
