Male parrots are infertile, females are fertile. So if they breed that would be awsome if it's successful. I have no clue what the fry would look like but it would be interesting. Very nice tank. You would have to remove the fry or the others will eat them.

Well I can't find it but there is a massive thread with lots of pictures of hybrids and one of them is a red head x parrot. Looks pretty cool. Your red head looks good and if its a male and you have a female parrot then you have a good chance getting fry. What exactly is it doing?

Hi Thanks.
He is a male and the parrot is a female they are both digging a deep hole and biting the surface of stuff like a flat rock and my fake plastic wood sections. They also both do this thing i see my red head do this twitchy wiggle sometimes when by the parrot fish.
I will have to see what happens.

Best thing would be let them lay eggs and take them out before they hatch and put them in another small tank with the same tank water?

Thanks

Well unless they is a pleco leave them in there, because they will take good care of them. The holes are for the fry once they hatch. If you do get I fry I wouldn't mind a couple. Red Head parrots look awesome.
