With the exception of water parameters, what would cause my Salvini (relative Juvinille) to stop eating? He seems healthy, he's not clamping his fins, no body wound etc., matter of fact I rescued him a few months back nursed him to health and he has been eating like mad, until this past week.....Anyone?

Might be bored with the same food, or maybe something in the tank is causing stress. Hard to say. I have fish that sometimes won't eat for a couple of days, then eat like a pig.
One of our African Zebras does the same sort of thing. He will eat regularly for about a week, then he goes through a phase of a few days where he doesn't eat at all. He then resumes eating as if nothing at all has been wrong. Nothing is visibly wrong with him and I finally just decided it was boredom.
