Possible crack on the bottom of 125 acrylic

Just noticed this which scares me. It's about a tic tac sized area. It's smooth when I run my fingers by it however.

Is this an actual chip or crack? Could this lead to a leak? What can I do to prevent further damage?

It's hard to see a Reference to location ? Better picture ?

It's on the bottom panel. You'll see the sand bed right on top.

Picture looks to be the under side of tank? Doesn't seem to be through to bed of sand. I have never had a tank other than glass, but my gut instinct is that it is more of an impact type then a crack, no?

It's actually under the front side of the tank.

I'm keeping a close eye on it to see if it gets any worse. If it remains the same within the next few days to a week, I'll be less anxious.
