I just found out that the power will be shut off in my apartment complex for up to 7 hours on Wednesday. Maybe longer. I have 5 fish tanks currently running a 130 gal. w/ catfish, bala sharks and a spotted gar, a 90 w/ s. American chichlids, a 50 w/ African cichlids, and a open top 60 gal planted tank w/ assorted community fish. I am very worried about temperatures dropping and oxygen levels in particular. Do I even need to worry? If i do what are some precautions I can take? Thank you in advance for any help.

battery operated air stones, and digital thermometer and boil hot water to pour in if it drops to low.

Wouldnt really worry about the gar but i agree with steven ^^^

you should be fine. just make sure your sumps are topped off and nothing spills, after when they turn your power back on, just be like normal. nothing to worry about.

You're fine. Lower temp water holds more oxygen. Battery powered airstones will be fine. As long as temps don't hit the super low 70's there is no problem with them being too cold (seeing you're in CA I wouldn't worry).

yea the gar doesnt even need a filter lol
