Today I went to the local fish store, where they were selling a used forty-five gallon tank, with stand, for $75. Buying it was obviously inevitable.
The dimensions are 36x12x24, so the question currently burning on my mind is whether or not this would be acceptable to comfortably house any kind of bichir in for the entire duration of its life. Online opinions range from OH YES to OH NO, so I beseech actual keepers for some advice.
