Possible fungus or something on my juvenile ornate?

Hello, I recently noticed my 2 inch ornate polyterus had something resembling a fungus on its face , the tank is a 180 gallon and his only 2 tankmates are a 3 inch silver arowana and a 3 inch endlicheri polyterus , I keep the water temperature at 79 , any ideas what it could be ? Should I separate to a hospital tank?

Does look like fungus. Would try some api fungus cure and salt 1 tsp per g. Keep the water clean.

Thanks for the suggestion I'll try the api fungus cure, also I'm gonna move him over to a spare 55 gallon I have that's been cycling awhile so I know the water is clean , I'll try and add the medicine once in the new tank
