Soooooooooooo, yeah. My GBR's laid a clutch this past Tuesday. It was unsuccessful. So tonight I'm doing my "Research" about breeding them yada yada yada.
I found this article and as I'm reading this part : "The male undoubtedly initiates the courting with entertaining displays including, throat and gill flaring, body curling, displaying of the flanks, body whipping, and tail lashing. The female may return some of the advances, or may forgo displaying entirely."
I look over at my tank thinking, "I never saw them doing any of that last time, just lots of cleaning the spot they laid the clutch on."
And I grabbed my camera to film this :
