Possible Hap Project?

Hello,
I have found yet another fish I'd like to keep, and with this came a great idea. The plan is a trio of blue dolphins in my 55, but no flaming here please, I don't want to add the fish I'm about to mention in this tank. Said fish is fossorochromis rostratus. I thought it would be an interesting project to find a deal on another 55, and try a trio of the fossys. Could this be possible? I thought it was worth asking because they are similar on size to the dolphins, and they seem to have been cleared in that size tank. I won't have my hopes up though. I just thought it would be a cool comparison project to try.



On a side note, of the fossys will work, which species would you recommend getting first? I.E the hardier fish before trying the next species. Thanks!

A little small. Now I have breed dolphins in a 29 gallon bare tank without issue. They breed when relatively young. Fossi not the same get much bigger and breed much later.

It was worth a shot! Any other more dolphin sized fish that are similar to a fossy? Would love to own something like them.

I wouldn't do rostratus in a tank that small. I have a pair in a 135G that are over 10" each, and I'm pretty sure they're not done growing yet.
