LFS said it was a red dragon fry. and i look almost everywhere online to see red dragon frys and it all looks similar. while it was still in the LFS tank, the fish was lighter than it was in the bag and the black markings were a straight line.

could anybody possibly ID it? lol. i know its a bad picture, but i thought that was the best time for a picture before i let it run out in a 150 gallon

it could be. take a better picture of it when it's in the tank. if it's a red dragon, i can tell you it's a lower quality one.

i figured it would be a low quality one.. i was gonna wait til i go to houston for the better quality ones but i have no clue when the next trip will be so i just went ahead and bout it intro the new fishes to each other at the same time.

Houston LFS sell FH's for rip off prices. I know a guy that imports them and they're not that bad.

yeah the prices are pretty high on some..thats why i rather get frys. i seen some good deals on here but just the shipping is so crazy for shipping >.> . does your buddy have a website??

No he doesn't lol. He just imports fish at a wholesale price and sells it for a decent price. He only carries 5"+ FH's, no fry. The chances of growing a decent quality FH from a LFS is pretty slim.
