I've had my red belly piranha since it was a baby. I got it along with four others but it ended up eating the other three. Since then he's been in his own tank (same tank they were all in just not with any more fish.) I've had him for almost a year now and just recently he hasn't been eating. He just rests in the bottom of his "shelter" you could call it. He never eats and he just rests there. Just yesterday I cleaned the tank and filters and made sure everything was in working order. I keep the water at 82 degrees so I was curious if made the water was just to warm. Is there anything you guys can tell me because I'm really worried. He ate one time recently in the past two weeks and now he went back to just resting on the bottom of his tank. Is there a sickness he may have?
P.S. I feed him mainly frozen blood worms and occasionally just for the fun of it a feeder fish or two.
