As some of you might have known, I recently aquired an SB albino senegal.
What you didn't know is that my regular senegal is stalking it ever since I added it into the tank.
The only time it stops following it is during feeding time (he has greater affection for Hikari sinking pellets
)
I didn't post this as i thought the senegal was just curious as to what came into the tank.
But after about 1 hour of observation, I don't think thats the case.
He doesn't bite the SB albino. Just that he keeps following it and gently rubbing his snout on the SB.
No biting was observed, just gentle nudging thats all.
And when the SB moves away, he would follow.
And also the senegal is being incrediblely aggressive towards any of the other bichirs that come close to the SB albino.
He even chased away the Ornate which is about 4" larger than him!
I asked the previous owner, Kai and he told me the SB albino is a female. So I was wondering, isn't
time?
I really hope the SB genes would rub off onto the offsprings as this albino SB looks quite good and healthy.
So if all goes well, I might have SB senegals? I heard that only albino x albino would the offsprings be albino, true or false?
