Gday all, Is there any chance that this combo will work. 11'' Channa Micro, 12'' Green aro, 4 x 8'' Pbass, 2 x 4'' Dovii, 7'' Tinfoil barb, 6'' Fly River turtle, 22'' ID shark and a 22'' Giant Gourami all living in a 8x2x2. Im just wondering if its possible and if anyone out there has micro with any other fish?

i got my 14" with a long fin eel and red claw crayfish but wouldn't trust it with anything you don't mind losing

micro are also illegal in aus . as well as being highly unsuitable for tank mates in genral over the long term.
i would say after reading every thing you are planning on putting in , the tank would be WAY to small , even for half of those , and chances of it working for a while is 25% without any fish loss , long term less then 5% with that mix

personnaly i would forget the micro and reconsider many of the others in the list

cheers col

thiers a few floating around in aus

imo that would be a lil to crowded
take out the gg and id shark to make sum room and the dovii that would be eaten and i wouldnt be to shure if the micro would nip the turtles fins
if i could get 1 id keep it species only with maybe a couple plecs

small turtles are natural food for big micros , small micros are natural food for big turtles ,

why chance a hugely expensive turtle with micro ( have you actually got a frt or do you realise how much they cost? ), it is not worth it

( off topic but reminds me - i i actually seen someone advertise this week on a add site "wanted frt must be free" hahahah good luck with that then ,you will be waiting a long time)

the micro by its self is too big for that tank without any tankmates at all when adult . min size in aquaria is 2.5ft your tank is 2ft ( honestly it aint going to fit )

rory - iam affraid plecs are the worst possable tankmate to suggest for a micro , they are prone to swallowing them whole / trying to , the plecs simply errect there spines and the micros choke to death , it happens a lot

cheers col

I want a FRT o.o Id pay you $600 for a baby xD

The micro will kill everything in that tank, unless the micro got use to its tankmate when it was a baby...
