One of my lfs has started going out of business so I got a great deal on a 72" x30" x15" 120 gallon tank setup. Will this make a good tank for 1-2 full grown rays? Or will the low depth cause an issue? Tank has a large 1000 gph sump and UV system included.

Because Id really like to breed my male eventually but I want to know if this tank has a big enough footprint

30" inch width is a little small for a big female...

Tank would be good for some time. But would be tight for the female once she gets big. I currently have a breeding pair in my 210. Marble female and henlei hybrid male. They are doing fine but ope to have them in at least a 3ft tank asap

not to mention your total water volume is so small that they would make super high nitrates fast. You'd have a hard time keeping up with water changes. Whats a 1000gph sump? like a canister filter? if so what kind? I'd say you need 2 FX6's and you'd still struggle.

It's an external 75 gal filtration system that uses bioballs, filter media, filter socks, and uv sterilizer and it cycles 1000 gph
