Happy Saturday everyone

I recently found this 240 for sale around the corner from me and really like it but my wife isn't quite sold, she thinks the tank has to many scratches and that the filtration will be to hard to set up. Anyone have any tips on what to look at to ensure the tank is ok? I'll be searching the filtration forum to get ideas on the complexity of sumps, as well

Thanks

Look at the seams for crazing first and look into how deep the stratches are if you can buff it out. How thick is the acrylic?

Sumps can be modified to the way you like it or u can plug those up with caps if you dont like sump systems

Fwiw measure that bad boy. It doesn't *look* like a 240, its not long and low enough. Looks more like a 150 or 180; unless of course it's got really unusual dimensions. A normal 240 should be 8x2x2.

I know some makers sell their 6'x2'x30"H tanks as 240 gallons even though theyre usually 220 or 225 everywhere else. Kinda looks like one of those imo.
