Thanks for the advice, currently I’m feeding hikari cichlid gold and blood worms as a treatBut looking at it and lack of appetite, I’d suspect hexamita. Try feeding some medicated metronidazole in the tank and dosing pure Epsom salts at 1 tablespoon per 1 gallon. What are you feeding currently?
Maybe skip the bloodworms for now. Monitor and if still has the white poop then consider metro and epsom salts. Thanks for the advice, currently I’m feeding hikari cichlid gold and blood worms as a treat
Yeah I’m gonna go pick up some Epsom salts tomorrow and I think I have some metro , thanks for the helpMaybe skip the bloodworms for now. Monitor and if still has the white poop then consider metro and epsom salts.
I’d do the entire tank that way the fish can be constantly enveloped in the epsom salt with adjustment for water changes. But can do a bath for now if more comfortable for you.So just an update since the other day, yesterday I gave him an epsom salt bath in a 5 gallon bucket filled about halfway, I’m gonna monitor him the next few days and I ordered some medication to treat hexamita just waiting for it, do you think i think should Epsom salt the whole tank or just keep on with the baths?
