I have an acrylic 750g from you guessed it Tenecor.
I have noticed a spot on the bottom seam which the only way to describe it is it looks like the calcium deposits that form on the tops of tanks. but sandwhiched in between the bottom panel and front panel. Its about 1" long I cant tell how deep it goes but the tank is 3/4" acrylic and its not all the way thru.
Has anyone seen anything like this before? I was thinking on getting Weld On 16 and just trying to coat near that spot as precautionary measure. Draining and reglueing is not really an option due to the amount and size of fish in the tank. I guess as a last resort I can go buy some plactic ponds temporarily. We all know Tenecor will not do anything about this or even answer the question so I have not bothered to contact them yet. Any advise or opinions would be appreciated.
I tried to take pics but they do not really show well

Adding it to the outside isn't going to strengthen that area, you would need to drain & add on the inside. Sounds to me like it may be a potential weak spot where the bond wasn't 100% and water has creeped in. Could be wrong though, perhaps others would be able to give you a better idea if you posted a close up pic of the area.

I'm kinda thinking the same thing as RD. If you need to fix it, you are going to have to drain the tank and re-weld the seam.

Ive seen this before having owned many acrylic tanks. This area generally mean there was tiny air bubbles in the cement. Most likely will not cause a problem with the acrylic being 3/4" thick. But like suggested if you want to put more cement over this area you will need to drain the tank. But its usually just the cement squeezed out that has this air bubble trapped and is not actually in the seam.
