Right now i have a bow front 55g with egg crate seperating my jardini from a few small perch and a flag tail. i zip tied some aluminum window screen to the egg crate since some of the perch were able to swim right through the squares. my question is, would that screen cause a chemical problem or imbalance to the tank? it's not coated with anything and it's standard aluminum screen like you buy from lowes or home depot...
