Possible red morph cuban ?? Possible?

Hello, I recently noticed my 4 inch male cuban is starting develop some orange/ red on his head, I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to have a red morph Cuban cichlid with out it being a hybrid, I've only noticed it starting in the last week or so

Tetracanthus get plenty of extra subtle colors as they age, and those may be dependent on origen of ancestry, color variations are common in cichlids one location to the other.
