hey guys!

So its fairly straight forward and my question is " Should I add a 1" INDO Tiger to my 180g tank?" This is my 180g Tank stock list:

1 x 10" RTG Asian Arowana
9 x 4-5" Clown Loach
1 x 4" Flag Tail
and....
thinking about adding the 1 x 1" Indo Tiger????

I have lots of PVC tubes and Drift wood for the INDO to hide. So I'm just wondering if I should add the 1" Indo Tiger along with my baby stock list fishes.

Other than the possibility of my RTG kicking up dust/causing trouble.... Do you guys think that the INDO Tiger will contribute and disturb the peace as well? What about in the future when all RTG, flagtail and INDO are somewhat fully grown? DO you guys think 180g would be enough space for all 3 of them to live together with the clown loaches???

thanks.

A 1 inch indo with a 10 inch aro is very risky. Your aro will put another 2 to 4 inches on in the next year. The IT will grow slower, even though it's small. I think the IT will get eaten. Also i think your stocking your 180 with too much. Be happy with what you have, your tank is border line for your current stock.

Yah i think soo too with the stock list... I just saw an awesome deal on an IT and just wanted to see if I can squeeze him in my 180. I was thinking with so much to hide under the RTG won't be able to get to the IT.... But I guess I'll have to pass on the IT...

Thanks Classic.

If you were to go with an IT get a bigger one, ever been nicked by the dorsal fin? It hurts and if the aro were to try to eat The dat it would be like swallowing knives and could possibly kill the aro if it cut up the inside of the throat.

Yah I"ve read that IT's got thick spikes. I think i should just follow both ur advice and just be happy with what I have. I think getting a bigger tank just made me want a lot of fish in it lol... let me take pics
and post.

when I got the 180g I was very excited and thought that the 180 tank was huge! But now.. For some reason I already feel and think that I need a bigger tank. This tank is looking smaller every day lol. My RTG looks kinda big in the 180g. I thought it would be tiny coming from the 75 to a 180g. gonna wait till i find anotehr awesome deal and then upgrade to another monster tank.... 10ft would be awesome!

Is your Arowana calmer than before?

RTG is So far soo good.... I just placed my RTG into the 180 recently so far he's getting along with everyone. No jumping or skittish at all lately the past couple of days. But he looks a lot happier exploring and swimming a lot more now.

I have about 8 Meal Worms floating on top of water just in case he gets hungry....wouldn't want him to start making his own dinners now with his tank mates =(
