Possible Stand?

I work at Menards, so I get a discount I was just wondering if you guys think this would work for a stand. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions, but each shelf would easily hold a 55 gallon tank. Do you think this shelving unit would work for a stand? It looks incredibly sturdy, and we sell a lot of them for garages.

Says each shelf can hold up to 2000 lbs.

Menards. I haven't heard that name in a while. I used to work there back in 96ish. I live down in FL and we are Menards free. I really miss Farm and Fleet. That was a cool store.

A 55 gallon tank weighs 625 pounds give or take so it should work fine.

Nice! I may have found myself a stand Thanks guys. Menards isn't too bad haha, but I wouldn't recommend it long term. Too many stupid people

It all depends what it is rated to hold.

You'll do fine. Only thing I would do is screw a piece of plywood to the back to give horizontal stability. I am sure it does not need it but....

I would put a 3/4" piece of plywood down on each shelf incase the shelf it self bows any.
