to go with a 20cm Oscar, 2 10cm GT's, 20cm giraffe cat, 20cm synodontis, and a 20cm common plec.
preferably something a bit interesting... was thinking of a spotted pike characin, or perhaps a Ctenopoma acutirostre/BushFish, although i hear they may not be good with mt GT's?
the oscar btw is as soft as a brush, has never once attacked a single fish and he was the first fish in the tank.
so any suggestions would be welcome! price is an issue as i dont want to be spending a small fortune! any supplemental pics would be good as im crap with latin names :D

many thanks!

It is hard to give any ideas for more tank mates without you telling us what the size of the tank is.

id move the oscar, the GT's and the cats. the oscar needs a 75 gal. minimum. but it's been pulled off before. i feel like the oscar would rip a ctenopoma apart.

I wouldn't add anything to that tank. A 55 is pretty small for just one oscar IMO and with two GT's in there it will be even more cramped as they get bigger if one GT doesn't kill the oscar and the other GT first. So I say don't add anything unless you get a bigger tank first.

ive got a leopard bushfish in with jade eyed cichlid an that pushs it around never mind what a GT would do! defo not worth the risk

good advice guys!
this is my first tank really its had koi/goldfish/tench in it before then i got bored and moved them into the pond and slapped a heater on.
best start saving for a bigger tank wont be long before im over-run by large cichlids. been considering a DIY so se what happens with that.
