What other chichlids can I put in with 2 kribensis in a 55 gallon tank?

Sorry... I didn't know which category to post this in....

Anyways... I want to have 2 kribs and breed them... what other chichlids would go well with them and not eat the babies?

My tap water's pH is high... around 7.5+.

And what should I diet of chichlids consist of?

If I was to feed once a day, what food exactly should I feed and how much?

I will supplement freeze-dried food such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, etc. once a week and fast them for one day each week.

I'll buy chichlid pellets tommorow... exaclty what should I buy?

Also... I've had firemouths and convicts before. I fed them sinking pellets and sometimes there would be too much water and they wouldn't be able to see it once it hit the gravel. any tips?

What decorations should I get in the tank? I heard that I'm supposed to have a cave in there for the kribs to breed... Any specific brands or kinds I should get?

Almost all other fish will more likely than not eat the fry. I had my pair breed with 6 congo tetras in the tank and the tetras ate the fry.

You thinking of any non cichlid africans to add?

you can have other cichlids with them, but none that will not eat the fries. normally other smaller cichlids are good options
