Possible to breed bichirs? Cross breeding?

Just wondering if its possible to breed bichirs in aquaria? I know some breeders use hormones to induce breeding behaviour. Also if it is possible, how likely is it to cross breed species? Say a delhezi, senegal cross? (Just for example)

Yes, a number of species have been known to breed in captivity. I know a few people in my area that breed senegals successfully.

And yes, they can hydridise.
