Possible to have a sump without drilling?

Was thinking about making a sump for my 75 gallon tank but can't really drill it because i beleive its tempered glass. Is there any way i could have the water flow to the sump without the drilled holes?

Just create a syphon into an external container that does have an overflow. Viola.

If you back out into the DIY section, then immediately scroll down. There will be a couple of DIY overflows that are currently being worked and displayed.

these are a nice premade hang on back overflows.. however they are noisy so a DIY dorso standpipe (google it) is a must for these things
