hey i was wondering if you could over filter a tank. i put the fluval 405 that had been on my 55gal on my ten gal reef. its just about the right amount of current. was wandering if i was overkilling the filtration factor?
pleez help this is my first reef!

In a saltwater tank the more you turnover the tank's volume of water the better. I go way over-board on filtration as well and all my animal's are alive and well. Just make sure the flow isn't too strong on your coral's or they may get stressed and not expand.

i have a fluval 4 and a couple of PH in my 10 gallon since i've turned it into a QT i've taken out the powerheads but the tank did and still does fine
