I went to my local petsmart today, saw 2 baby flowerhorns. They were bland and beat up, their red wasn't really dark. if I buy one would I be able to give it a high quality vaired diet of food to make it have a nice kok and nice color?
Possible to turn a crappy flowerhorn into a beautiful fish?

It's in the genes bro. That being said I've seen some pretty decent petsmart flowerhorns on here. There is a huge thread on here about them, I'd look them up. I think food and good quality water helps to a point.
