The problem is is that they are too different so even if you have a male and a female together its very possible that they will show no interest in breeding. I'm not saying its impossible just that its unlikely they would pair up.
Alright I've been super bored and this looks like the perfect thing to get me into an adventure.

So do you have either the moment? I would suggest maybe JD x Texas of you wanna try something that hasn't been done.
I would relish such a challenge. Would you buy some fry if I did spawn them?
I would have room if I did the dad as the JD and the mom as the Texas.

Texas X firemouth could end up looking real nice too. I would use a firemouth male though and a female texas.
I happen to have a male firemouth
