possibly an ich problem

so i spotted my pleco with some ich on him, all the obvious symptoms, white spots, and scratching on everything.


i put it in the qt tank and none of the fish in the tank seem to have any signs of it, should i just cure the pleco and put him back, or do i need to do something with the tank?

I would QT him, and MAKE SURE you only dose 50% of whats called for, whether it is salt or ich meds...Plecs don't tolerate either one at full strength....Good luck

What is the temp of your tank that is having problems? Forgot to ask that..^^Wurm reminded me

i try to keep it warm, i have all my tanks around 80. i dont know if that is stable enough to be worry free about ich though
