Woke up this morning to see my female's motoro's ....ya know.... purple/red then it went away in prolly 30 min. now I have 3 males in with her, 18" leo, 12" hystrix, 8-9" motoro, all mature, the Motoro is still chasing her around and biting her like breeding activity. I guess my question is if after a ray breeds does he normally give her a break? or does he keep continuing pursuing her.. There was also alot of white floaty pieces in the tank when i woke up.
Possibly breed?

Maybe, kinda, might consider seperating her from the flock to target feed as well as give her a break from "the action".

yea, i was thinking about it but the only other tank i have is going to be a quarinteen tank starting fri
If you might be expecting pups, you might consider a grow out tank. If you seperate her, the tank she would be in could become your grow out after you return her to the flock. Just some thoughts. -FM
my male wouldnt let up on my female, even when she was proven pregnant. i had to seperate.... motoros are horn balls
