Possibly the largest BGK in captivity?

Thanks he/she is my "wet pet" I've moved 5 times with him. It's the only fish i've kept for the entire time. Can't seem to party with my "buddy"

nice fish and great job. get a pic in tank with your arm in shot, that will give a great perspective, cant see the tape measurements on the vid, how long is the tub fella?

it's a 24 inch tub. the bottom is about 22 inches.

You will notice his tail is bent. He was dropped in the first move years ago and its been bent since. He would be somewhat longer with a straight tail!

yer some tank shots...
i had a one myself and lost him to a weired slime outbreak .. no idea what happened.. but it covered him / her.. think it was suffercation.. got to around 12"

Tank is a 180 gallon, the filter is an XP4 for size comparison. Pipe is 4 inch wide
