I just got my new rhom delivered yesterday, and after acclimating it seemed very happy. It was eating krill within moments of getting out of the bag. But now this morning He seems like he's having trouble staying straight up and down. He keeps tilting to the side. Does anyone know what causes this? Is it urgent? He's alone, obviously, in a 20 gallon grow out. there's a whisper filter, tank is ~82-84F, and an air stone. The tank has been cycling for a little over a week.

Help please.
Thanks

possibly stressed bc of new environment. i had a new one do that, he quit after a week or so

does he tilt to his side when you get near him... or is he always like that? rhoms i have had in the past(skittish ones) would tilt to their side when they felt threatened as a form of defense mechanism... making them harder to see-

He tilts often, he is hiding up in the corner, perhaps I should give him some more hiding places, the tank is kind of bare. I really hope he's just getting used to the new surroundings...

Same experience here. I think you should be fine. In the months I had mine he never took non live food so your starting off on the right foot.

Sounds fine. Add some plants and or other hiding spots. I've had them that were that stressed they just wanted to hide all the time. IMO I think that's what he's doing stressing/trying to hide..
