def NOT a shroederi

There is a major classification difference between the hobby and science.

P. shroederi now has some classification in Peru, though not the Colombian - P. shroederi (true Flower ray).

Wild caught and from Peru both will fall under a ".sp" classification.

I was thinking P. castexi, but the P. shroederi is another good guess as I look at the tail..

The length of tail, to me says,” Not an orbignyi", and P.castexi having so many pattern variants and pattern crossing between variants may produce something like this.
With the abundance of P. catexi though out Peru, my guess it is a Castexi variant or a Castexi cross (but the P.shroederi is a thaught as well).

Hard to tell as these rays have so many variants. Based on pics I have seen, I would say dumerilli type.

True P. yepezi come from Venezuela and have a pattern that looks like granet rock.

The P.cf. yepezi from Peru and I believe is going to be classified as P. orbignyi but as of now it is Potamotrygon .sp (Peru).

But pics Sticky~rice put up, both rays have longer tails than P. yepezi, P orbigyi, P. humerosa and if it is a natural hybrid the body and tail stucture are not motoro either.
Because of the location, the length of the tails and ammount of variants in the Peru regon, I'm still going with P.sp & thinking they are a P. castexi variant or cross.
