some people have aracnaphobia: fear of spiders
others have acrophobia: fear of heights,
someone who just set up a new tank secretly may have heterophobia: fear of the opposite sex, A.K.A the spouse that wasnt expecting ANOTHER aquarium!!
some fears aquarists shouldnt have are
nelophobia: fear of glass
hydrophobia: fear of water
nelohydrophobia: fear of aquariums( ok i made this one up )
piscaphobia: fear of fish

some fears all aquarists have at times are
hygrophobia: fear of dampness
blennophobia:fear of slime
atychiphobia: fear of failure
dementaphobia: fear of insanity

peronally im afraid the power will go out while im away and cause a reverse siphon in my pump of my trickle filter and flood my house.
post your aquarium based fears

hear hear

once you thaught you couldnt spend any more... you go reef

I came home to my fear today, my w/d pump burnt out and leaked prolly 3 gallons or so of water on the floor, if could have been worse, but I came home in time to stop the carnage.

ive got a hardwood floor that leaks into my dads garage when my tank leaks!!

saltwater+ tools = certain doom in my house!!!

1. Losing money.
2. Tank defects.
3. Failing to accomplish what I want to breed.

I'm afraid of seeing a post on here that causes me to "have to have something" new. It always leads to costing me more money. Same thing happens when I ask a question on here, generally leads to me opening up my wallet.

I'm really not too worried about the power going out. I've followed all of the rules and had many test runs. I shouldn't have any problems.
