i have a 2" spotted pleco i've had for about a month or so now. i feed him algea waffers and cucumbers/zuccini. after he eats for some reason for about 6 hours or so there is what looks like a whiteish film around his sides and back. then after it goes away and he returns to his regular shades of brown. any thoughts?

Color changes are usually due to stress, but I don't see a reason as to why your pleco would be stressed after eating.

I also have a leopard sailfin that changes colors from time to time. Some parts of his body turns to a lighter color. After an hour, maybe even minutes, he would be back to normal. I guess it's natural?
