Hi all,
I have a customer who wants a 24 carat gold but wants to have a look it,I have not got a decent picture yet.
It could be from the internet..The size around 1 feet the more pictures the better. This Will be very helpfull.
Thanks,
Nithin

why would you take a pic of another guys aro and tell your costumer that it's yours?

As a customer I want to see pics of the fish I'm buying, not other fish.

You sure your customer needs pics of other arows? If he just wants to see examples from the net he could easily find those himself.

People on here have an issue with vendors showing pics of the best quality arows they can find online to customers, as if it represents their own fish. So don't expect a lot of help.

yup^^^^

Nithin, you are kinda scamming your customer by doing that.

He is a local person here who wants to have an idea of how it looks like....i will give the pics to my dealer and he will tell me which pics will resemble the fish he supplying to me...I am a reseller who does it as a hobby rather than making money....
I am only 14 years old thats why i need all of your help.
BTW the reason why the dealer cant provide pics is because it is very expensive and a slow moving fish...around 5-6 pieces Max a year!so he does'nt have it as ready stock,on request he will order..
I also told my customer about the photo,I dony want to involve myself in any scamming!I want to have a nice amd clean business
So please try to get me some pics
Thanks

Your reason for the dealer not being able to provide pics makes no sense. He should have easily been able to get pictures of the parents if the breeder he is ordering from is reputable. I don't know of any breeders that withhold pictures of quality arowanas, or any other fish for that matter. They're usually quite happy and willing to show them off.

Pictures from other users and off the internet won't demonstrate what the fish will look like as an adult. That is determined by how the parents looked, and without showing pictures of the parents your just fooling the customer into thinking his fish is definitely going to look like show quality specimens, when it may not.

I haven't seen the fish or the parents myself, so I'm not going to help find pics of show quality fish when I don't know this is what the dealer is actually selling.

If you think this is ethical then you can easily search google images for pictures. But most of us aren't going to be willing to provide any.

Ok, what do you think I should do?

I would question the dealer as to why he can't get pictures from his breeder or supplier of the parents of such an expensive fish.
If he keeps giving excuses it would make me think something isn't right.
And I'd tell your customer exactly what we said in the thread. The dealer won't provide pictures and you don't want to mislead him by showing him pictures of fish that his may not end up looking like.

If he still wants to know what that species can look like then that's fine, but explain that those pictures won't necessarily be representative of the fish he's buying.
