I want to see what my fish's cousins look like. Please tell the age, name, tankmates and tank size. This one is in a reef style 65g with a pleco and two small JD's. He is around 6-8 months old. His name is "Pick".

joecoulson, have you seen any aggression in your RD yet? I would expect those JDs to be goners in a tank that size.

Here's my 4" mutt from Petsmart.

Yes, only once has he gotten out of hand. Right before Iswitched to a bigger tank, I took out all the hiding spots so I could mix some of the new flourite with the old to get BB going on the new. When I did this, the following moring my one JD was badly beaten up. I felt really bad and actually lost quite alot of sleep because of it. I was at a loss. But since I keep superbly clean water and my hospital tank was being used by a Blood Parrot (who would have probably put him over the edge) I decided to keep him in there to heal. That and the fact that once hiding spots were all back and everyone was settling into the new tank, the RD seemed to leave him alone. All is good now and everyone has a good hiding spot from him. The Pleco couldn't be bothered by him though. He just seems to be an annoyance. I have seen other threads talking about no tankmates and too small of a tank and I do believe that on average, a bigger tank and no mates would be ideal. But because of the hiding spots, the fact that they have been together since all were less than 2" long (except the Pleco) and the bigger tank, (for now) all looks gravy and the JD is healing very nicely. He is even back to chasing the other JD around. There is defiitely a heirarchy in my tank and I am grateful tey all get along now. Sorry for long in the tooth.
