hey everyone i am setting up my 125 ,still:irked:, almost there, and want to see your setups for the new world cichlids. doesn't matter what tank size, or what species, and they don't all have to be cichlids:). mine will have several catfish and some misc fish. i will post pix of mine as soon as i get it setup. i am just looking for the filters i want.:D

whoah ccebr thoose are sweet fish!!!! are they both jags? and is that a silver or jardini aro? i love how you use the floating plants, i am doing the same thing:) sweet setups everyone:)

cheers mate, yeh one on left is a male jag, the others a female dovii and silver aro in the middle. They are actually plastic, but the plant is around 30" long so floats across the surface for a nice effect

how is your set up goin are you cycling at the mo?
 
my plants are plastic too and are 36 inches. not cycling yet, building the stand currently and buying the airpump and filters. i have my list and am halfway there. next is finish stand buy plumbing and purchase the rest of the fish and decor. i have half of the decor and half of the fish allready. it should be done by mid august. i have had the tank since march 19 2010, but have been planning this for over 2 years, it started as a plan to upgrade my 30 gallon with 2 baby pictus after my originals died after 6 years, to a 55 gallon and add an oscar and a blood parrot. but i am now doing a 125 with 13 individual fish and about 7 species. wow
