This was my first major DIY project. A stand and canopy for my free 100 gal tank. On the left side is a rocker switch that controls the lights, there are 2 doors in the stand and the plant on top is from her:irked: . Anyway the silver and the jar are getting along great and I want a cpl of rays and maybe a Knife to finish it off. I thought about posting this thread after my teenage stepdaughter called this HOT! Then I wondered what else ]v[Fk'rs have done that might inspire me. Waiting to see what you are most proud of:popcorn:. More projects to come as space permits. BUT THIS THREAD IS FOR YOUR BEST:headbang2 . I know I'm going to get :owned: at this point but I'm very competitive:naughty: .

bout to build another stand/hood combo will post pics. but for now i think my favorite(although not most asthetically appealing) is my tubs system. used 40g tub to filter my 110g in an upflow system. i think i just liked the creativity i used.

i am pretty damn proud of my cannopy but its not done yet. when its done i will get some pictures. and my sump for my salty set up.

I'm always more proud of my research and the knowledge I gain than in anything I actually physically do. I'm not one for DIY (although I wish I was. I'm proud when I get a nail through some wood at the right angle), but I can do research and plot for days and days.

i too plan for days and in the end it turns out i dont have enough money :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: i need to get another job

Lol. I wish money was my issue for once. :P Mine is always down to "Oh.. I know everything I need to about it now... but I don't have the know-how, experience, or inclination to actually put it to work..so, what's on TV?"

Bottom Line: I'm lazy.

This pic looks GREAT!!!

Here's my pride and joy. I built the stand and facing of my 100g built-in in my basement. I'm currently working on a diy wet/dry system that's going in in a few weeks.
