If you are wondering why you may be experiencing the wrong time of a post it could be because your computer hasn't updated to DST yet.

If you live in the United States and your area uses Daylight Saving Time (DST), your computer may be off by 1 hour. If you see a 1 hour difference between the time of your post and the time on your computer, it could be your computer hasn't updated itself to DST.

The USA went into DST on March 11th this year. This was the second Sunday of March instead of the last Sunday as in the past. Computers using Windows NT, Windows 2000, Visual Studio, Windows CE, Windows 98, 98SE, Windows ME, Windows XP without SP2 and a number of others, need to be updated manually with a Time Zone editing program.

Please see the post at the link below for more information and you can also get the TZEdit program. This is a STICKY post at the top of the Lounge

The link to the thread is:

The Edit Program is in post number 6.

I hope this clears up why the time on your computer is different than the time showing on a post you made.

Good luck,
