post traumatic jump stress

my silver jumped out the tank about a week ago
i was in the room and scooped it up (not easy to do)
it lost some scales and looked pretty rough but was eating within hrs

its behavior has become more irritable and its color darkened
not real worried because its still eating and swims normal
but appears to be stress (dark color and irritable)

so has anyone had a similar experience

No worries, aro's are very hardy and if it eating everything is fine. The dark color is normal on healing wounds, and the scales will grow back shortly and the color takes a couple months to come back in. I would add some aquarium salt( 1tbs/5gal) and observe, if the wound gets red in color start melafix and be sure to maintain excellent water quality.

minw plowed through the tank cover

keep the water clean and add salt
